Baby’s nursery in your room?

We are in the process of buying a house but we have yet to find that perfect home, so we decided to just get another apartment for the time being, (doing a 6 month lease).
So now we are looking at apartments and just thinking of getting a one bedroom since the apartment rooms are soooo huge. I’m iffy on it because I like space but I know for the first few months, baby will be in the room with us regardless... Baby won’t be joining us until July!
Any ideas or comments on this?

If you're not planning on sticking around for more than a year I think it would be fine. Even people that have a full nursery sometimes keep baby in their room for the first 6m-1y

We had a one bedroom apartment with our first and a three bedroom house with the second. But I co slept with both of my kids until they were at least 1

We have a nursery and my baby is over a year and still barely used it. Her toys and clothes are in there, but she won’t sleep in there. She sleeps in her pack and play by the bed in my room. We’ve tried to get her to sleep in her crib since she was like, 6 months old and it just hasn’t worked yet. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I live in a 1 bedroom house. We only have a kitchen, 1 little bathroom and a big bedroom. We are planning on cosleeping anyway so it's no big deal for us. We'll move when we can but for now we're alright here.

We started off in an apartment. We were keeping baby for first six months in our room anyway so it didn’t matter. Some people do it for the first year, but it can also be nice to start getting that space after six months
