Always. My family are extremely negative and emotionally ignorant people. They judge because they are ignorant. They don't mean it in a negative way, that's just who they have become and are very predictable. We have to keep our distance.

My side of our family don’t however my husbands side do all the time and they have in  no position to judge anyone !

Other than staying close with them.

Not really. I'm not really close enough to anyone in my family for them to have an opinion on what I do. The only people I really speak to are my dad, who couldn't care less as long as I'm not living out of a shopping cart, and my sister who doesn't have any room to talk so 🤷🏼‍♀️ Besides that, I have no idea what anyone thinks of me, it's not really my business

My mom keeps her opinions to herself... my Dad and step mom have all kinds of opinions and unsolicited advice. They have even had conversations about me with my husband behind my back (which then my husband tells me about right after they leave). The result is that I tell my mom about everything I’m considering, etc and my Dad finds out only after it is a done deal and it’s too late for input. 🤷🏻‍♀️
