Married couples do you share money?

To pay for everyday stuff; rent,bills,gas, groceries etc etc.

We have a shared account for household and family expenses and we each also still have our own separate accounts.

We have our own accounts and split the bills for the house. When it comes to stuff like groceries or household items we just pick it up as we need it, whoever thinks of it or is near by the store at the time. We don’t keep track of who buys what. His is mine. Mine is his.

We have separate accounts but we BOTH pay bills and take turns with groceries or us going out to eat or fun stuff we take our kids to do etc. and if he ever needs cash or me to get anything I do and vice versa. We share our money it’s just not in a joint account 🤷🏻‍♀️

We have all joint accounts and everything that either of us makes is considered “ours” like we will say “we have made blah-blah amount of money this month” or whatever. But we also have agreements on spending; anything above 50 dollars is agreed on. But we pretty much do any shopping and spending together anyway.

We have our own accounts and I pay both his bills and mine out of the appropriate account. It’s more a function of never being in the same place at the same time during business hours that we don’t have a shared account than anything. Basically we share money, just not on paper.

Well I mean technically what’s his is both of ours cause I don’t work right now lol. But when I did/do again, I just put what I make into our joint account 🤷🏻‍♀️ We just consider any income the both of ours, it just makes things a lot easier for us

I’m the bread winner and make way more money than my husband. When we first moved in together 5.5 years ago, we decided I pay rent, groceries, gas, and electric. He pays cell phone and internet (because he makes less). We opened a joint savings but only put wedding money in so far. We’re buying a house and pregnant with our first so we may open a joint checking account, but I’m very sensitive about money because I work very hard and I’m a saver by nature but my husband is a spender.
