Stressed with my father in law!

My in laws have seperated since New Years and my husband brought my father in law home. I'm hoping it's a temporary stay because I dont want him to move in with us but he's speaking as if he's moving in for good long term. Brought in a fridge to put in my garage and is talking about building in my back yard. My husband knows where I stand I dont think this is his place. I feel he needs to talk to his wife and see where they are going to go from there and if he needs a permanent place then he needs to figure out where but not with us. Am I in the wrong? I'm stressed because he's always here he's in my space and I'm not a big people person. I love having my own space specially with 4 kids we're raising. I love my InLaws they are a blessing but I feel and have always felt all couples need their own space. I haven't even been asked how I feel about him living here even worse the thought of him staying.
