Sharing Room With Baby??

Is anyway else sharing their room with baby? We only have a 2 bedroom house for now so we are having the baby room share with us. Our room is a pretty big size and I’d like to make a small space dedicated to baby but I’m not sure how to do it. Is anyone else doing this? Have you started or have ideas? Looking for some ideas.

I will definitely have the baby in our room until 12 months. It’s recommended until a year as it lowers risk of SIDS x

I'm definitely sharing room with my baby. Will just set a side space of our room for him or her. We plan setting up a little spot of our room with wallpapers, shaggy rug, sleeping cot and dresser. We will sure make the place feel all warmy for a baby.

I’m going to sleep in the baby’s room. We have a double bed in the baby’s room and I want my husband to get sleep so he can be rested to deal with our toddler/work/house stuff. Baby is due May 19 and we are both teachers so he’s home for the summer on June 12. Then I’ll either stay in the room or move the baby in with us for the rest of the summer. She’s just going in a pack n play until my tot is done with the crib and moves to a toddler bed. We will see how everything works out lol.

Baby will be with us for awhile. We have a 3 bedroom house but 1 room in the playroom. Our 3 and 5 year old share a room and eventually the baby will go in with them too. Their bedroom has their beds and clothes. Eventually we plan to build a new house with some more room but for now they can just love eachother and be close.

i did this with my first. we lived in a two bedroom twin home
the bedrooms weren’t big though. we made the open basement a master and she has a half of the room with crib and dresser. we only did this until 2 months old when she slept through the night. now we will do the same with this baby but bassinet.
