It's been 2 days since giving birth, a forceps delivery with episiotomy and a 3rd degree tear. It took 2.5hrs in theatre to stitch me back up again. I was given a laxative regularly while still in hospital to help the first poo.... and it has... but since the first poo when I got home 6 hrs ago, I can't stop pooing myself. I can't get out of bed quick enough and start in my underwear, then go to the toilet and finish off. After that, I have a shower to clean off but my bowels then let loose while in the shower as well. Thankfully my husband is just beyond incredible and has been cleaning me up and washing all of the soiled items but it's so degrading and is really getting to me and I can't stop crying. Please tell me I'm not the only one that has dealt with something like this 😭 please tell me it will pass once the excessive laxatives are out of my system and I will still have control over my anus.
