1 week old woke up with eye crusted shut.

Right now my husband is sick. My daughter is sick and I am getting sick. I am so afraid for my one-week-old. Especially now because he woke up with his right eye crusted shut. I have applied warm water and clean the area. But I am terrified something worse is going to happen. The house we live in is cold. No matter how much the heater is on. There is no carpet in it. I don't know what to do, but I am scared for my toddler and newborn.
