16 momth old has hardly any hair 🤦🏻‍♀️ any suggestions?

I really want his hair to grow!!!! By now I feel like most children have already had their first hair cut. 
He has more hair at the back that’s so cute with little curls and I just want it to growwww 😂
Any tips?

My stylist always suggest getting a first hair cut or trim early on to help growth. It seemed to work for my children. So it may be something to consider. It doesnt need to be anything more than a little trim.

I didn’t have hair until I was about 2, my son is 11 months and doesn’t have a whole lot yet, it’ll come in when it’s ready too

I didn't think most kids had haircuts until 2 or 3. I barely had any hair until I was 2, so the fact that my son isn't functionally bald made me happy 😂

My daughter is the same age and has hardly any hair, It's light blond so what little she has hardly shows.
I'm not to worried my sister had hardly any hair till about 5. 
She's 21 now with plenty of it.

Brushing promotes growth but so far it's a slow process.

Eh, some kids just take a little longer to grow & fill out their hair, my daughter was basically bald until she was 1 & then she looked like a dude w/ a receding hairline until she was like 19 months old when it finally started to fill in, she didn’t have her 1st haircut until she was 22 months old & that was just trimming her bangs. She’s almost 3 now & has a head of lovely golden waves & curls :)

My MIL told me that my husband didn’t have hair until age 3. Lol
