What to do if hubs has the flu?

My husband has been super tired and says he's achey, and his temperature is over 100.4°F (between 99.9 at the lowest and 101.3 at the highest). I think I'm going to have him go to the doctor tomorrow and see if he can get tested for the flu. 
If he has it, what should we do?? We have a 2.5 year old and a 10.5 week old. 
Me, my toddler, and my husband all had our flu shots back in September, so I'm really really hoping he doesn't have it and is just super tired or something. 🦠😬😷 I'm scared of my baby getting it. My husband is such a dumbass and picked up our son tonight when he got back from work and I'm so mad like if he thinks he has the flu he shouldn't be touching our kids or anything else in our house! I honestly wanna send him to a hotel til he's better 😷😷
Update: flu test came back negative woohoo! He's feeling better after getting some sleep... had a case of man flu it seems 😜

My husband had the flu in January, our son was about 5 weeks then. We also have a 4 year old who was very sick just not as sick as my husband. The baby and I stayed in our bedroom and the two of them were on the couch bed for 5 days, 5 nights. I only left my room to eat and the baby stayed in there the entire time. Neither myself or baby for sick. Oh and he had the flu shot.

Flu generally has a higher fever and you are very very sick.   Unfortunately sickness is just a part of life.

My husband had the flu when my daughter was 3 weeks old. He slept in the guest room and was the only one to use the guest bathroom. (If your toddler is potty trained it might make more sense to quarantine your husband to the master bedroom and you go to the guest room.) He wore a mask at all times when out of his room for 9 days. He didn’t hold her at all for the first few days and after a few days he held her at a distance and wearing gloves for a few days. And only after showering and putting on clean clothes. He didn’t hold her coming straight from his room with germs on his clothes. He constantly washed his hands. The whole family should. He did spend time with us and eat with us, but he kept some distance when he wasn’t wearing a mask and always kept it next to him incase he needed to cough. We sprayed Lysol several times a day and sprayed really good before bed. Remember doorknobs, light switches, refrigerator handle. We washed his sheets on day 4-5 and again after he came back to our room. We washed his pillowcases often with his clothes. Toothbrush was replaced at day 5 and again after a week and a half. If you get a warm day shut the door to his room and spray Lysol and open the window to air it out.  
The first 4 days are the most contagious. It’s typically contagious for about a week, but can last longer in children. The incubation period is 1-4 after exposure. My grandmother stayed to help me because my daughter had RSV at the same time. None of us got sick. I hope you all stay well!

All you can do is keep some distance between him and baby a few days and keep sanitizing the house. We have a high schooler and middle schooler and both have had a cold since baby was born. We quarantined them while on meds 😆 and flu shot is made for last years strains so as virus changes and there are multiple strains, it doesn’t prevent you from getting flu the same season. I’d send him to dr today and take precautions.
