My son had his 2 weeks old appointment 2 days ago and his umbilical cord stump was very much intact that the pediatrician said he still had quite some time before it fell out. Well today I went to change his diaper and I didn’t realize is somehow got caught on his onesie so it accidentally got ripped off. My poor baby boy cried so much and it looks like this now. Is this normal? Dr offices are clothes now until Monday unless I go to urgent care of ER.

There’s white/green like discharge inside the belly button and slight red patch on the right of it.
