Test after 1 hour or 2?

So my nutritionist told me to test one hour after my first bite and my numbers have to be 120 or lower. I have been reading a lot of these posts and most people are testing after 2 hours. How many hours have you been told to test at and what numbers are you supposed to have?

I test 1 hour after last bite and it has to be under 140.

Go with what you were told. I was to test one hour after eating. there was an option that if I missed it I could test after 2 hours and I had to indicate that in my log but the number was supposed to be lower than the 1 hr results.

I did the 3 hour and failed at 2 and 3 hour make. Passed fasting and 1 but my doctor makes me test 1 hour after first bite.  I’ve gotten curious before to see if I spike at 2 hour since I failed that mark and I never get a high number. Always low 90s

It depends on your glucose test and if you failed the 1hr or 2hr mark. Some test 1hr after first bite and some like me test 2hrs.
