I’m I wrong

So I like this guy and I believe he likes me but he doesn’t want a gf right now because he just joined the military and doesn’t want all that on him I understand that since day one because I was with my ex bf fast forward to basically the end of school before we go off to winter break for a month I would hang out with him and things like that because I was being a good friend because I wasn’t going to see him again but that was a lie cause I talk to him all winter break and so when I got back to school he was on campus so I would still hang out with him beige went off to basic training and so he’s friends would bring up my ex because he was ex military and stuff but I told them I broke up with him so he believes.so he leaves to basic I wasn’t hurt broken until I few days ago because a lot of pissy shit was happening and I really wanted to talk to him but I couldn’t he left off to basic training like two weeks ago and I thought he would be able to talk to me until three weeks after basic training but a week and a half went by and he called and I lit up I was so happy but the down side to things is that I still miss with my ex and the guy in basic trainings so sweet,caring and nice I feel so bad but he hasn’t claim me as his girl yet
