Drinking out of cups/second time moms?

So, I did some reading and decided that Id get babe a straw cup to start practicing with. 
Is anyone elses baby drinking out of anything other than a bottle? Or if you are a STM how about with your first? How did the transition go? 
Can babies drink their formula out of a straw cup?

I hate cleaning straw cups. So I bought the MAM training cup. Small and has handles. I give it to baby to play and learn how to use while we eat dinner. I am also starting to introduce baby food. The water in cup associates eating and drinking. She is breastfeeding well with 1 tablespoon of food so just a few bites.

Haven't introduced anything other than a bottle yet but with my first we did open cups and straw cups. Tried the 360 cups but he didn't like them. Only ever gave water in either cup until after 1 year. Then water in straw cups and milk or juice in open cups. I just never wanted to find a straw cup days later that had milk in it 🤮🤢

My baby will sip from my water bottle but she cant hold her bottle yet so I'll start sippy cups when she can hold them and I'll just get those ones that are like a regular cup probably with those special no spill cups only for juice and water at meals times at first so theres a bib and she doesnt get all wet and just so she can learn because the flow is different and faster. My first baby didnt have any issue transitioning but I've heard of babies refusing to let the bottle go

FTM and i tried a sippy cup but I'm still breast feeding too and he changed how he latched so i stopped using it for now. I will use them again when he's a bit older.
Instead i just put some milk into a small cup and i hold it while he drinks from it. It can be a bit messy at times but for the most part he does amazing. And no more latch problems.

FTM but I started using sippy cups because my daughter was really not a fan of the bottle. She loves it!

We just purchased our first sippy cup, not a straw one  tho. But havent started yet. He has been trying to want a sip from our cups tho. So I'm assuming itll b soon.
