What can I do??😭

I have a hard lump on the bottom of my breast and it feels like a bruise. I think it’s a plugged duct from researching on Google. What can I do to help it go away or what has worked for you?

I read on Kelly mom to nurse frequently on that side, massage, put hot or cold pack does all this work? How long does it last?

Hot compresses, latching baby with chin pointed at the painful area, massage with an electric toothbrush (not the bristles). If it gets worse or you start to feel sick like you have the flu, contact your OB as it may have turned into mastitis.

When I had a MASSIVE clogged duct the only thing that worked was nursing on that side and hand massaging during hot showers. 
When I would try to pump absolutely NOTHING would come out and the pain was so bad I would throw up. Nursing wasn’t AS painful but I could actually feel the milk moving more while also listening to LO drink. 
It can get very painful and get worse quickly, so I would honestly try absolutely everything under the sun so hopefully it doesn’t get too bad!

If you have a vibrator get that bad boy out and place a warm towel over the area, place the vibrator and either hand express or pump. My lactation consultant recommended it and it saved me a few times! Nurse, nurse, nurse!

Massage while nursing or pumping and massage in hot shower. You can also massage while nursing in dangle feed position to let gravity help too (put baby on ground or changing table and hang that boob in his/her face).

use a vibrator on the lump and pump at the same time. it works for me every time. also piling my boob a little and massaging as i pump. when i have lumpy boobs i pump for at least 10min and i wait for quite a few letdowns.

Take sunflower lecithin. Warm Water with Epsom salt soaks and massage breast. Also putting vibration on it works wonders. Feel better

All of this plus I also used a thick comb with coconut oil (anything slippery) in the hot shower to comb it out. Good luck mama!
