Scared

Hey everyone. I had a miscarriage on 12/31/2019 when I was less than 6 weeks pregnant, and I hadnt went to the doctor after the miscarriage, or even before so I’m not sure how far along I really was. It was 6 weeks yesterday that I had the miscarriage, and went to the doctor for extreme stomach pains, nausea, and a severe headache (no vomiting/fever, though). I haven’t had my period again yet. I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago and it was positive.

The doctor called me today and told me my HCG levels were over 40,000. I was able to get into my OBGYN tomorrow for them to do more tests and stuff, but I just want to know what I should expect to hear. I’m freaking myself out because he gave me “normal” levels of pregnant HCG to compare how high mine were.
