When I gave birth to my first daughter I was in the hospital for 3 days afterwards. Obviously I won't know what will happen this time but I would like to be able to catch milk and save it while in the hospital but I just don't know if that's really sanitary bringing it to the hospital?

I didn't leak anything until my milk came in. Which wasn't for 2 1/2 days. Even if you do leak, there won't be anywhere to store the milk while you're there. Hospitals are plenty sanitary there's just nowhere to keep the milk

I didnt bother taking it because my boobs weren’t even full in the hospital ￼ when I got home my boobs are full then I use the Hakka￼

It's not gross to take it. The hospital is more sterile then your house. I didn't bring mine because I didn't leak til my milk came in 5days pp

I don’t think it’s gross at all to take it. I just don’t think it’s necessary. My milk didn’t come in until a day or two after being home, so it wasn’t necessary until then.

Bring whatever you want.. the hospital is probably the most sterile and clean place ever. Haha
