My mom is something else

So when I was dating my boyfriend in the beginning I thought it’d be smart to show her who I was going with for safety in case something happened. This woman held the door shut and wouldn’t let me in until he went back to the car. Very overdramatic of her🙄🙄🙄

Now that I think about it this woman didn’t care about my safety or whereabouts just in case. I felt safe with him but you would think your own mom would care. Like wtf is that? She always told me how I need to let someone know where I’m at ,but when I did she didn’t care.

I’ve tried bringing it up to her and she avoids it by diverting the conversation to something else. So I guess I’ll never get an answer
