A few weeks ago I noticed my partner and I were working on the same Saturday. I asked him to ask his mum to take care of our daughter and since then nothing has been mentioned. I didn't even remember about it to be fair or else I would have asked him about it. This evening at 9.41pm he asks if my mum is coming over to take care of our daughter tomorrow morning and I'm like what are you talking about. I reminded him that I asked him to ask his mum and there's no one I can ask to cover me.

He knows it's difficult for me as it is. There's 3 managers, one of off on holiday and the other works between two stores so it's tight. There's no one I can swap with and get to come in tomorrow at 7am.he's adamant he can't do anything to change his schedule which I think is nonsense. He is a delivery driver and there's plenty of others drivers who work at the came time. There's no way I can't go to work or there won't be anyone to open up the store. I always sort out childcare for our daughter and the one time I ask him he can't even make it happen.

He decided to stay off work today because he was ill like myself. I still got up and did everything I needed to do and for some reason he thought he'd stay in bed all day. It can do this so easily (not saying he should call in sick) but you see how he can pick when he's in work.

I do not have a choice or enough time to get someone to replace me when I start work on 7 hours.
