suspicious?

my friend is freaking out because of this so i’m just curious.

her uncle is in his 40’s and has been dating this girl for almost a year. she just turned 21 (two weeks older than one of his nieces) and he proposed last week. she already has a dress and the date is set for august. she thinks it’s rushed and somethings up, i think he’s just trying to marry someone young and beautiful before she changes her mind and he has to start over. at first she thought she was pregnant and i said she’d be too big by then for the wedding and to get a dress now so no. does this seem suspicious to yall tho?
