Does anybody follow the rhythm ???

Does anybody follow the rhythm here to avoid pregnancy? If so how’s it going for you or how did it go for you ? I started following the rhythm of the calendar in December and so far I’ve gotten my periods on time. I was on the pill for 12 years before December so I don’t know if maybe I still have the pill in my system or if this is really working.

If you mean natural family planning, than yes. My husband and I have used it for over 4 years. We did end up getting pregnant during that time, but it was planned and intentional, and found that because we were already tracking it was easier to get pregnant. We started the NFP route after I had a life threatening reaction to one of the other birth control methods. 
Though I wouldn’t just rely on the schedule. Pick up some ovulation tests and test around when the app shows you should be ovulating to be able to confirm accuracy. You can also check your cervical mucus to help to be able to tell if you are ovulating or are getting close to. Natural family planning works wonderfully. But there is more to it than just following the schedule. You need to be very in tune with your body.
 We also use withdrawal all month as a back up. And if we have sex during our green weeks we use condoms as a back up.
