Confused

I found out at 12 weeks I lost my twins they stopped growing at 9 weeks 6 days . I had to have a D&C done on January 13th. We were suppose to wait 2 weeks to do anything but we tried for 4 years to have a baby and got twins to have them taken we didnt want to wait so we started having sex the next day. (I only bleed 3 hours after D&C btw) well the app says I'm suppose to start my period in 3 days but today I had sharp pain around 12 and I thought maybe I started but it's just spotting but only when I wipe now on the pad. Could this even be a period?
