Can’t stand my teacher

I know a lot of students can’t stand their teacher but mine he always yells at me and the class today he yelled at me because I asked why were doing something only two students wanted to do other than the other 10 wanting to do something else. I asked shouldn’t it be majority rules but he just yelled at me. I hope I don’t sound like a brat. Is there a way I can still take the class but not actually go to class for example still do my assessments and tests but go to the library and teach myself. I’m in Australia by the way.
