My baby’s sac is stuck between my cervix!
I was 19 weeks and 6 days when I was experiencing terrible back pain and diarrhea. After the diarrhea passed, I still felt like there was gas that needed to be relieved.
I was sitting on the toilet attempting to push out the gas and I felt...pressure in my vagina. I reached down and I felt a balloon/bubble coming out of my vag.
I panicked.
After waiting 6 hours in my local inexperienced ER, the attending physician sees membranes hanging out in my vaginal canal and immediately put me in an ambulance to a hospital more equipped to help... an hour away.
Unfortunately, after 5 days, the membrane hasn’t contracted back inside of my cervix and I’m stuck in a bed for the next 5 weeks in ‘Trendelenburg’ to keep her in there. Can’t be transferred to a better hospital until I’m 22 weeks. I’m only 20 weeks 4 days. 😔
She’s still here. Vitals are great. Heartbeat is still above 133 but...
What happened?! What went wrong?! Has anyone gone through this?
