How long did it take your period to resume normally after getting off BC?

I stopped taking birth control a couple months ago and got my period pretty late when I quit (this would’ve been my withdrawal bleed, I got it about four-ish weeks after quitting BC). It’s now time for my second period after quitting BC, however two days ago I noticed clear sticky ovulation discharge? Which I should’ve gotten weeks ago, not two days before my period is going to start. I feel like my period is going to be late since my body is adjusting. What were your experiences with your period after getting off BC?
