To Find Out The Gender Or Not?!?

This is my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy I did not find out the gender, but my husband did, he was the only one that knew and it was our secret and he didn’t tell me (best kept secrets ever). 
Now for our second pregnancy I want to find out. We have a boy already and I want to know, I just do! But my family is giving me some push back say “don’t do it, you’ll be the only one in our family to ever find out” this baby will be grandchild #16 on my side of the family and we would be the first to ever find out the gender before delivery. 
So they have me second guessing what I want to do...ultrasound is March 12th so I need to make a decision. 
I loved the surprise of not knowing for my son and it was a great experience. And it doesn’t really matter what gender the next one is, but I want to know if I should get girl clothes and I’m just really excited to know. 
But I feel like if I find out, I’m kind of taking some fun out of it....ahhh idk. What are some other thoughts?! Thanks!

I didn’t find out with my first and it was an awesome experience. I got pregnant again but it ended in a miscarriage, in now pregnant and I wanted to find out the gender for a couple reasons, one being if I miscarry I would like to know what the sex is because I do wonder that from time to time with my miscarriage, and second being I did the surprise gender thing and really want to go the gender reveal route that way I had the beat of both worlds. I wanted to know if I need to sell all my sons old baby clothes or keep them for the next baby.

That's your baby and if you want to find out the gender then do it regardless of what anyone else in the family says. That's your decision, no one else's mama. Congrats mama and hope you have a healthy pregnancy!!❤

We made the decision to find out with the genetic test. I said “I’m not fighting over boys names unless we have to” since we had already picked a girl’s name... and we are having a boy. You could also find out yourself and not tell anyone else. Do what you want to do!

Honestly, I don't give a fuck what other people think 🤷🏻‍♀️
My FIL judged us hardcore for finding out the gender of our oldest, but I didn't care and found out anyways. "Its better to wait!" "We waited both times!" So whaaaaaat! We're different people who want different things 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
If you want to find out, find out!! If my second had been a girl instead of another boy, I wouldn't have found out this time since I'd have been able to keep my boy clothes stored, and stored some girl clothes too. He was a boy, so we found out this time in case we were going to need to buy girl clothes. He's another boy, but we did a reveal and made it fun! Hearing everybody being so excited for us, even though we already have two boys, helped me for a lot of the day with feeling sad and getting stuck in my gender disappointment!

I have found put on all 3 of my children and this is my 4th baby but I'm waiting to find out the gender and just buying gender neutral clothes everything I biu a hat and a bow to go with it's so hard but I think its goin to be so fun on Delivery day and help my nerves I have c section so I get pretty nerved up
