Wake a sleeping baby?

Now that our babies are 7 months or close to it, do you ever wake your baby from naps? When they were small I was told to wake them after two hours so they slept at night. Do you still follow this, or do you follow the “golden rule” of never wake a sleeping baby? TIA!

Let them sleep! The only time I don’t is if it’s creeping into bedtime. If he’s napping and it’s getting close I’ll wake him if it’s an hour before bedtime.

My girl usually only naps 30 minutes three times a day...so if one day she decides she wants to nap 2 hours I let her because I know she needs it!

I never woke my baby except for when he was a few weeks old throughout the night.

I have to wake my baby all the time when doing the school run.
I wake him up if his afternoon nap goes past 5pm as his bedtime is 7pm

My Dr told us let her sleep unless it’s an excessive amount of time (for example 4 hours). My girls longest nap was 2.5 hours.

Only if I really need to go somewhere, I do. Other than that, no. I wouldn’t want someone waking me up from one of my naps.

This is tricky. My girly is mostly down to 2 naps. I never wake her from those! If she wakes up from her second nap before 3 she usually needs a cat nap in the evening and I won’t let her sleep longer than a half hour then
