Anyone had this happen???

So i got my 20 week scan. Ultrasound tech got everything measured, but said i might have to come back because she didnt get good pictures of the heart because baby was in a ball. We spend like 20 mins looking at the heart and it looked pretty clear, but just feel like that was her was of telling me something was wrong.

Very common! I had to go back twice. Sometimes the baby is just not moving enough to get the angles they need. Other times they're moving too much.

I have to go back in 4 weeks. She could see the heart but needed better pictures. Try not to worry.

No it’s very common. They have a list of images they have to get and even if it looks clear to us the tech knows exactly what they are looking for. I had to go back because my little man wouldn’t take his arm off his chest from them to be able to see one specific part of the heart.

I had to go back to get organs checked out. Baby decided to curl up and face my back the first time. Everything was good

It’s pretty common to have a to go back for scans of the heart as it’s so tiny and sometimes hard to see everything. I had to go back in both my pregnancy.
