Where’s/whos my Dad?

Hello mommas

So my 7 year old son just recently got diagnosed with autism, and other social and learning disabilities about a few weeks ago... I’m heart broken to kno that my son has been struggling with learning, so the big question he has asked me is about his father, he believes he’s father is dead, I was ease dropping on his conversation this weekend with my friends kids talking about how his dad died on his way to work and how my husband is his fake dad bc his dad is gone... he says my husband is is dad too but he wants to kno where his father is... I asked him what made his ask about his dad and he responded with because I love him and I said but baby u don’t kno your dad, (( but again it’s hard to understand him due to his so wording in his sentences)

Soo my question is what do I do as a mother at this point? His father wants nothing to do with him he’s has chances to meet my son and there’s nothing in his heart to budge for my son since day one and thru the years nothing come out the kindnesses his heart,, I feel like I should contact him thruoigh social media and ask him what should I do about his son asking about him,

I do kno my son has The right to kno who his father is and that we are not together I can’t lie to him bc truth hurts but lies damage, I just need help to see and to learn more about this my heart aches bc I don’t want my son to be broken by that SOB.... there’s no right or wrong but to be able to leave in peace and be able to thrive and I want to become more understanding in this topic in a really touchy and emotional subject
