Bassinet waking the baby?

Our LO has just about outgrown her bassinet.  She hits the sides with her hands and my hubs thinks its waking her up at night. He wants to transition her to her crib... in her nursery.... 😭😭 I understand his reasoning and agree but I'm thinking she is getting so big and time should slow down. Where are your LO's sleeping? She will be 5 months on 3/3.

We got rid of the bassinet last week as we are rolling every way now... So we are in a crib in our room. Don't have plans to move out until after turning 1.

Mine too but I refuse until my husband moves his mother out of our house. She’s been here for 5 months and she’s driving me crazy. I’m not taking the chance of her going in there and I want at least one of our bedroom doors open once he’s in his own room and we can’t do that with her here. Fml.

Do you have a pack n play that can go where you sleep so she can sleep in the big part of that?? That’s what I’ve been doing with my son so he’s still in the same room as us! He will be five months on the 1st, I’m too paranoid to have him sleep alone in his crib! Lol

My son is sleeping in a playpen in our room but my husband is sleeping so poorly with the baby slamming his legs down in the playpen a lot to self soothe, amongst other noises. He's also big and we already took out the bassinet so he's in a big pit which is hard to get him in and out of. We just bought all the things we need to set him up on his own room, planning on assembling things over the next few days and then work on getting him to sleep there.

My LO will be 5 months on 2/26 she was a week early. She sleeps in a pack and play at the bottom of our bed we replaced the bassinet when she started rolling. I read baby sleeping in your room for 6 months to a year is recomended and I am not ready for her to grow up to her room yet - we are a one and done family.

I have been looking for a crib online because I am ready to buy! 
Bittersweet. But I also know he will sleep much better with a nice, comfy mattress. The bassinet is hard as a rock and he prefers our comfy temper pedic for naps 😅

My son has a mini crib in a corner of our room. We moved him around a month old because the bassinet was so close to our bed and he’d hear us and wake up so easily. 
I don’t plan to move him till 6 months the earliest

He was out of the bassinet since 3 months - mainly because we went on holiday to see my parents and he was sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Mid way through holiday, he learned how to roll from back to tummy. 
When we came back, the bassinet became too restrictive I think as his hands kept hitting the mesh so now he just sleeping on cot mattress on the floor. 
I’m in dilemma to move him into his own room in his cot bcos we’re in the process of buying a bigger house so I think we’ll have him in our room until we buy and move. Buy we’ll move the cot into our room this weekend and see how we go. At the moment he keeps rolling off the mattress and wakes up because of that or maybe he’s going through this damn Leap 4. I don’t know. He’s just sleeping poorly at night and fights day naps.

Out baby girl has been sleeping in her crib in her own room since 3 weeks old. She absolutely hated her bassinet and just would not sleep in it. I wanted her in our room for at least the first 2 months, but out of desperation, we gave the crib a try at 3 weeks and she has been sleeping so much better ever since. She started sleeping 11+ hours straight every night at 8 weeks old. She’s only had 4 middle of the night wake ups since November 30th. Two of those times have been this week because she got her 4 month shots and has had a fever from them. I really think she’s such a good sleeper because she is so comfortable in her crib! We keep the monitor next to our bed and both our doors open so we can hear if she needs anything. It’s tough the first few nights but it gets easier!

I moved my girl back in dec to her own crib. The first night she slept all the way through the night. She sleeps soo much better in there. Which in turn, we sleep better. She’s a really good baby when it comes to sleeping. She put herself to sleep & wakes up on her own schedule. Usually 8pm-8am. I know I’m pretty lucky lol.
