Does your baby like to play with the weirdest things?

Does anyone elses baby constantly try to play with things they shouldn’t and the weirdest things? My 8 month old son won’t leave cords, strings, tags, anything like alone and he’s constantly trying to pull up pieces of his puzzle mat. I don’t even know why he has regular baby toys hahaha. How do I stop his from doing this 😩 I know he doesn’t understand discipline yet but I’m trying to teach him no but I can’t stop this kid 😩

Also yes I’ve baby proofed but my tv cord is just on a blank wall because of how my apartment is set up
