What are your thoughts on returning to work the next day after 5dayFET? I had transfer this morning and had day off but trying to decide if I should take tomorrow off as well.

My clinic says no rest. They have us return to normal day-to-day activities as soon as possible. My first transfer took (though I later miscarried) and I hiked a few miles the day before, the day of transfer, and the day after, as well as continued my normal workout routines and daily walks. My second transfer I was no where near as active and it didn't take.

I’m a therapist and lift, md has told me already not to lift >25lbs the next day following transfer and resume normal activity there after.

Mine told me to take it easy the day after, and then slowly return to regular routine but not to over do it and no heavy lifting.

I have had four transfers in total. Two of them I took time off and literally did nothing, they failed. The other two, I had to go back to work the next day...and they worked! So I am a big advocate for resuming life as normal ASAP 😊

I personally wouldn't mind going to work on the same day if needed (and to be honest it may be needed as I feel I'm likely not going to be able get extra days off on my transfer week!
The research supports going back to normal activity ASAP, so don't see a problem in that.

My dr said to go back but take it easy like sit down and take lots of breaks.

My doc made me do 2 days of bed rest. I thought I was going to go insane

My doctor says it depends on your job. If you’re on your feet a lot, they like you to take the day after transfer off as well. But if you sit most of the day, they say it’s fine to go to work.
