Please give me some insight

Hi ladies, at 6weeks 2 days I went to the ER for some spotting. Only saw a gestational sac and hcg was at 1700. I went back at 7 weeks exactly and still only saw a gestational sac, nothing else. Hcg was then 3400. The dr seemed 50/50 about since my levels did increase but aren’t doubling like they should be. I’m terrified that I’m going to miscarry or have a blighted ovum. Any insights?
