Have you ever got back with someone who had moved on already ? or have you ever broken up with someone so you can get back with your ex or just went back to an ex. Please  tell me the story ☺️

For me personally, my exes are exes for a reason and I have no desire to get back with them. If the relationship was bad enough to leave instead of working it out with that person, why get back with them? Maybe you've both changed, but more often than not, I feel the same problems will resurface and the relationship will end the same way it did before. Both people need to really be willing to change and work on themselves, and it's easier said than done sometimes. I don't know, not a great territory imo 🤷‍♀️

An ex from when I 1st started dating, got a girl pregnant. So we broke up. 11 years later, we cross paths. He apologized, what seemed like wholeheartedly genuine, for what he did when we were kids. Decided were adults now, maybe give it another shot. 2 days later he tells me his gf is pregnant 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Walking away from my exes cuz they’re my ex for a reason

I did!! We didn't really end on great terms (partially also because if my parents forcing me to end things with him) and so we didnt contact each other for 5 years until I started to contact him again around 2nd year of my university (I didnt initially intend on dating him again) And as luck would have it, he goes to the university right next to mine! (the uni I attend is pretty small, not particularly big or renowned while the one next to it is pretty much the opposite 😆) I did date a few guys in between but none of them worked out. 
We've been together for 10 months now and practically live together.

My ex fiancé left me and my kids on Thanksgiving and moved to another state.  It’s a complicated situation because he has some mental illnesses that contributed to him leaving (and I have some as well).  We fought at first but since then, he has taken our kids for a few weeks at a time to give me a break.  We’ve talked about what went wrong and he did say he was no longer in love with me but that he cared about me.
He’s moving back here in a week and we’re going to try things again.  So I can’t tell you how it’s going to go, but the reason I’m getting back with him after he left us is because he’s proven to be the only person that cares about me at all.  He was even the only person who kept talking to me after I got pregnant by someone else in the time we broke up.

I still actively talk to my first boyfriend. We got together when we were 16 and broke up at 18. I have since moved on and had 3 kids, his relationship of 3 years just broke down. I've known him since we were 4 so it's more friendship than an ex but he has always been there when things went to shit. We also know our boundaries. We did talk about getting back together years ago as there were still feelings there but that went no where. We are happy in our lives and happy to remain friends. He's the only ex I talk to though besides my twins father. If I was single and he was yeah we probably would give it a try. We broke up cause he wouldn't grow up, he has now 8 years later.
