Women’s shelter?

I’m in a relationship with a “man” that is emotionally and mentally abusive. I WANT OUT!! I have 2 kids, 2 dogs and don’t have anywhere to go. I pay all the bills except the rent, only because I can’t afford it. I also have my own vehicle. Does anyone know if there’s a women’s shelter that will take us (not the boyfriend) if we aren’t being physically abused? Our dogs are my oldest son’s therapy dogs, so I can’t just leave them or get rid of them. I live in southern Louisiana.
