Never got blood drawn?

Question

So I scheduled an appointment with my hospital gyno when I found out I was pregnant, all they did was take a urine test, then schedule me an apt for March 6th. No blood tests or anything ... sucks because I’d like to know it was progressing... still testing to make sure they are all blazing. Still worried me.

A lot of women on this app got pregnant via fertility treatments. When that happens there is extensive early pregnancy monitoring. I had blood test at 3w5d, another one coming up at 4w2d, then once a week until 7 weeks when I have my first ultrasound to see if it’s viable. 
If you conceived naturally with no history of miscarriage or reproductive issues you likely won’t have/need that much monitoring. 
It’s a good thing really, if your doctor was worried you’d be getting all sorts of tests done....but they don’t seem worried at all so congratulations on your little one 💕

Most don’t. I’m on baby #3 and have never received a blood test until the first appointment which is at 9 weeks when they do an ultrasound.

They don’t usually do blood work until 8-9 weeks, and even then I never got the results. Just “yup you’re pregnant” 
I’ve never been told my levels of anything, except my iron which is super low because I’m anemic.
