How do I teach my 1 yr old that i don't want her to touch certain things?

Also how do you deal with tantrums? 
Whenever my one year old is about to touch something that might hurt her or something I don't want her to touch I say "no no no no no",in a stern way,  which makes me feel awful because she then throws herself backwards and starts crying hysterically. Am I being awful mom? I feel like I am because she cries so much when I tell her not to touch things. Please give me some tips thank you in advance

It’s my job to keep things she shouldn’t be touching out of her reach. If there’s something I absolutely cannot move, I say, “Hands off” and redirect her to what  she CAN touch. 
Tantrums: I just let them happen. Teaching emotional intelligence is important. Reflect her feelings. There are great books and podcasts about how to do this 💕

Redirect her attention. I’ve also taught my daughter “hands to yourself” and she’ll put her hands on her chest since she thinks it’s a game lol and it usually gives me enough time to redirect her attention. With tantrums I let her let out the big part and then go and hug her and ask her what’s wrong. She’ll usually calm down down with the hug and will want to cuddle.

Telling ur child no doesn’t make you a bad mom.   She’s throwing a fit because she isn’t getting everything she wants. She’ll get over it. Simply ignore it or redirect and distract her with something else at that age. Her crying or throwing a tantrum is normal behavior, don’t cater to her or feel bad because u are being a parent and telling her no.

Girl, keep doing the right thing. Because if you don’t they will walk all over you at 2 and 3 and up lol... I flick my 1yo hand when he’s reaching, and if he reaches again I do it again and sometimes he cries, sometimes he grabs the damn thing anyways😂

I’ve been told not to show attention to tantrums because that’s what they want you to do. But I haven’t quite gotten there with mine yet. 
I wish I could do something about the hair pulling and the biting though.

Redirection and empathy... I usually try to keep as much as possible that isn’t safe for little fingers out of reach, but if it’s not possible I try to have something to distract him or just pick him up and say “hey, let’s go look at this over here”
If I can’t distract him or he’s still trying to get to whatever it was and starts melting down, I give him a hug and acknowledge his big emotions, usually by saying “I know you wanted x, and its frustrating that you can’t have it. Mommy doesn’t want you to get hurt, I’m sorry you’re feeling sad”

I usually correct with a smile and redirect. Oh we don’t play with that, have this instead! Safety issues get a slightly firmer no, sockets and stuff but even those are said gently. And usually that works until they are old enough to realize they have been redirected. Tantrums I let play out but don’t give in, to what they want. A smile a hug if they want but I try not to allow tantrums to be a way to control mom by telling them they can’t have them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ they bump their head a few times while having their fit they will figure out quickly why they don’t want to do that.

Instead of that find her something safe to touch and say "how about we play with this instead" and redirect anytime she does it. I know it's hard to not just say no all the time because it happens 100,000,000 times in a day lol but itll pay off if you keep it up
