Iron rich foods and recipe suggestions
My midwife is thinking I may be struggling with an iron deficiency, and we will be doing blood testing during our next visit to see where things are at.
I’ve been trying to make sure I’m eating sufficient sources, however, I do not eat red meat often. I’ve been finding it hard to make sure I’m eating appropriate amounts of nutritious foods, but I am sleeping so much and my energy has been extremely low that I feel I missing times where I should be eating. I’m 13 weeks +4 days and I am hitting an exhaustion wall every two hours or so, getting out of bed is a big challenge everyday, and I just want to feel present in my day again.
I’m asking for any suggestions that you may have for energizing meals, iron rich foods and natural supplements. Thank you for any information!
