Should I be concerned?

Hi guys! After a year of trying, we finally got a faint line. My period was supposed to show up two days ago and it didn’t. However, I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning and today (24 hrs apart)

and they both have the same faint line. Should I be concerned that the line hasn’t become darker or is it still too early? Thank you so much! Sorry I’m just so nervous 😬

Pregnancy tests are only designed to tell you if you are pregnant or not. Line darkness cannot tell you if your pregnancy is viable or progressing well. Only blood tests with your dr to see if hcg doubles in 48hrs. Line progression is just an internet fad. Make that first appointment and congrats 💕

Darkness of the test doesn’t determine viability. A line, faint or not, is a positive. But usually if you’re looking for a more prominent “darker” line, wait 2-3 days and take another test with first morning urine. It take 48-72 hours for hcg levels to double, which is what would make the line more prominent.

It did get darker. They only get a tiny bit darker the next day, or sometimes they look the same.
