Anterior placenta?

Long story short I was in an accident and they took me to the hospital to make sure baby is ok. He’s good but they sent over my sonogram and it said I have an anterior placenta. Has anyone had one in their pregnancy? And did it cause complications

Yes I had an anti or placenta. Absolutely normal. Although u may feel less baby movement stince she’s kicking towards ur back and not ur tummy

It is normal. That is normal to say always where the placenta is anyway. That is the procedure of ultrasound. Anterior means it is in front of your belly. And it might make you feel kicks later than other people say they feel the baby. But that is it.

I've had an anterior placenta for all of my pregnancies. It did not cause any complications. It just means the placenta is in front of baby and you may not feel them kick as strong as someone who doesn't have one.

It’s perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned about. It just means the placenta is in front of baby (closer to your stomach) rather than a posterior placenta which is behind baby (closer to your back). 
2 of my 3 pregnancies I’ve had anterior placentas.
