I'm going for my first ultrasound at week 9, what should I expect?

My doctor seems a bit out of the game, she is close to retiring so I think I'll get another doctor based on my previous experience with her. What should I expect with my week 9 scan? I want to know what other doctors do.

i had an ultrasound at 9 weeks just to determine due date because I had an early miscarriage in december and no period in between. it took less than 5 mins.. all she did was show me the baby, confirm there was a heartbeat and then she took like 2 measurements and plugged that in to the computer and told me my due date. I am having an ultrasound on March 9 at 12 weeks to do the nuchal translucency screening and that one will be much more detailed.
