Married couples, that didn't live together until after marriage..How long did it take you both to get comfortable in all aspects?

I'm curious to know how couples that didn't previously live together before marriage adapt to living together 24-7 and all the awkward little things that come with it.. bodily functions like farting, pooping etc. weird habits that you may have not known about previously 😂 and after living together did anything change negatively? How long did it take for 100% comfortablity? ALSO.. How long until the marriage felt REAL. Like this is the person I'm going to spend the REST of my life with.. Was there a moment when the feelings of this is my fiance - this is my husband changed? Did anything else change drastically since marriage?

My ex husband and I made the choice to live together till we got married and honestly it worked really nice! We divorced for completely unrelated reasons so don’t let the EX part scare you. It was such an experience to plan the wedding then after the wedding, find the perfect home for us. The first year was the funnest year because of all the new experiences! The biggest thing I can say is most important is RESPECT and splitting chores! If it needs to be done, just do it or ASK for it to be done. Don’t assume. It’s very interesting too when your styles clash when it comes to decorating. Lol cuz the way i envisioned my home was not all all the way a grown man wants his home haha  Make sure YOU have a little space to go if tiffs happens. You don’t want to feel trapped. Communicate communicate communicate! Like you said, you will be together 24/7! Good mood, bad mood, sick, healthy, through it all! As a couple, you will always be changing, therefore your home should always accommodate you and your relationship at the time. Don’t jump into hosting events until you are settled and comfortable. A house warming party is SO fun! We got to have ours on Halloween. If you don’t get to do that, have an official “WE ARE DONE AND IN” hubby wife night to celebrate. It’s a big big step but it is also the funnest. Have as much fun as you possibly can and POOPOURI toilet bowl spray saved my life until I was comfortable pooing!! 🤣🤣 good luck girl!

My husband and I met in June 2017, got married in July 2017, and he didn't officially move in with me until November 2017, when the lease on his apt expired. He stayed overnight at my place practically from the moment we met. I had been single for quite a while before meeting him, I was mostly just casually dating. It definitely took a while to get used to not having the place to myself anymore. We both got used to it by kind of having corners/rooms where we keep our own stuff, and can kind of retreat to, if we're annoying each other. Overall though, I can't imagine ever living alone again, and would never want to go back to the single life! Been married almost 3 years now, and still can't believe it!😂

Day 1. There was no uncomfortable time for us. we went from not living together to being completely comfortable and wondering how we ever lived apart.

We didn’t wait to live together until we were married (we’ve lived together for 3.5 years and we’re getting married in June), but it did take about a year to be 100% comfortable in our living situation.  It typically takes a while to adjust to new circumstances

I’m curious to see responses bc I don’t know anyone who has actually done this. My husband and I lived with each other for 1.5 years before getting engaged and we’ve been together for 7 years! To us this made the most sense for the various reason you mentioned above, we just wanted to make sure we were compatible before taking the next step. I don’t have much advice beside to be empathetic, pick and choose tour battles and know bodily functions are completely normal. Lol also set boundaries ASAP. For an example I told my husband that I did not like it when people would poop in the bathroom while someone else was showering. Lol and I told him I don’t want him using my toothbrush and we don’t share washcloths or towels.
