Baby shower - how to word this

My baby shower is next weekend, and I have an event on fb with my registry’s and all the people I’ve invited. My mom is the one throwing it at her house and she keeps telling me that people ask her what I want and she doesn’t know what to say. I’d like to post something in the event on fb however I’m not sure how to word it without sounding rude like I’m telling people this is what I want and I also want to make clear in the post that I’m thankful for just people even coming to celebrate and that no one is obligated to bring anything - I just don’t know how to put it into words without sounding offish. I really need people to bring diapers and wipes and baby essentials. At my last baby shower I was very thankful for the things I got however a bunch of it was a waste, like too many newborn diapers and all the same clothes (mainly newborn stuff) my son came out big and didn’t stay in newborn long. Please help me word this is a respectful way. Thanks!
