No Sleep in this house.

Katie

I need help. My now 10 month old is so hard to get to sleep at night. Naps are a nightmare too but I'm more worried about her sleeping at night. She was sleeping through the night from 6 weeks old and I wanna say about 8 months on has just been a nightmare. She refuses to be put in her crib, she refuses to be rocked. Our bedtime routine is calming the last hour before bedtime. I turn on her relaxing sleep music, she eats her last bottle, we sit together, no playing, read books and finally I rock her in my arms until she either falls asleep or I get fed up with her trying to break free. She can be in a dead sleep and as soon as I learn forward to lay her down, she starts kicking her legs and screaming because I'm putting her down. I'll lay her down, tuck her in and just walk away. She's quick to roll over, sit up and then stand in her crib screaming. And when she does actually go to sleep, she is usually folded over from sitting up. She wakes up often through the night. Always just screaming. As soon as she wakes up she stands herself up and screams for us. We usually let her cry it out and figure out how to self soothe unless she is crying for a set period of time. But even if we go either lay her back down or rock her again, it seems to make us laying her back down much worse. We just can't win. She will wake up 6 times at least in the night. The only time she is ok with sleeping is if she is in our bed which can't keep happening. I end up giving up some time in the night and just drag her to our bed because I'm tired of listening to the hours of screaming. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this? I'm at a loss.
