Am I wrong ?

So every month my best friend and I go out on a girls date where we have a few drinks & catch up on each other’s lives. (She moved away so we only see each other once a month.) And I told my bf I’m going out this week and he asked where and I told him “out”. And he asked where but I didn’t know yet until my bestie texted me so I just kept saying “out” . And he said “Don’t be mad when I don’t tell you where I’m going” and I said “That’s a no”. And I tried to tell him where I was going but he said “I don’t care about what you do. Just don’t be mad if I do the same thing.” And I told him you’re being petty. My best friend and literally just go out to dinner or shopping and he knows that. So am I wrong ? Or is he being petty?
