Overweight baby?

Does this mean my just over 3 month old is starting to get over weight as he’s going past the 99% curve?

No, babies can't become overweight. Just means your baby is well above most babies their age for growth.

In general babies gain a lot of weight at first, then gain slowly for a long while. My 2.5 year old has gained maybe 2 pounds in the past year, while my 3 month old has gained like 7 pounds in 3 months. You've got a chubby baby but nothing to worry about, they'll get taller and slim down by the time they're 2 or 3.

And it looks like your LO has consistently been above the 75th percentile. Our pediatrician has said she only gets concerned if the baby suddenly goes from one extreme to the other. Like, consistently in the 20th percentile, then jumping to the 90th or vice versa.
