He’s here

He gave us quite a scare yesterday. I couldn’t progress further than 4-5cm and his heart rate was having some trouble coming back up after each contraction. So it was decided that

Emergency c-section was the best option. They rushed me off to surgery and I was freaking out. I had never had a major surgery before.

They gave me my heavy dose of spine blocker and it wasn’t working completely. Next thing I know, I am waking up from being kicked out and my son was in the recovery room with my husband. I had some of the worst pain I have ever had last night and it didn’t seem like anything would help take the edge off. I woke up this morning and felt a lot better. I was able to snuggle you little bug and it made everything better.
