Heart beat before 8 weeks?

So this is my second pregnancy my daughter I saw a heartbeat at seven weeks now my OB changed their office rules and said they don’t take us in until eight weeks because they want to hear a heartbeat they don’t even test for hCG levels in the blood anymore. I know how bizarre. Anyways I wanted to move my appointment closer because my husband wants to go but I would be seven weeks and five days she said the likelihood of us seeing a heartbeat is slim to none which I know is a lie because I saw my daughters heart rate before 8 weeks. That being said she gave me the option to switch my appointment closer but if we can’t hear a heartbeat then we have to go back do you think I should just keep my appointment? Or do you think that the heartbeat should be there by then
