What does dating mean to you?
some people believe if you aren’t dating for marriage, you’re dating for heartbreak.
Other say ratings just for fun and experiences.
For me, I’ve dated long enough to know what I want.
Right now there’s this guy I’ve been going out with, and I can’t wrap it around my head that if we aren’t dating for long term/potentially marriage, then I’m just loving someone I know won’t be in my future and that just pops up in my head everytime.
And it’s not a good feeling. I know someday I’ll marry the one for me, but do any of y’all have any words of encouragement? Should I just do it? Even if the guy isn’t dating for long term? Will I just set myself up for heartache? I really don’t know anymore how I can fall in love with someone knowing they could be completely out of my life in maybe a week, month or year or so.
