Lying about wanting a baby?

My fiancé and I have talked about trying for a baby for many months now. However, he is always pushing it back. I get that he’s nervous but it’s not fair to me to give me a specific timeline and then switch it when the time comes.

I’ve already asked him to not give me a specific time unless he is positive that he’s ready to start trying because all I’m getting is heartbroken over and over again.

Recently he said we would start trying anywhere from now until the summer. But now he’s apparently leaving the country for the whole summer. It is nothing work related. It’s just so he can have fun. How can you get me pregnant (if he even does) and then just leave me behind like that?

Am I wrong for being mad? What exactly should I tell him because I want to be with him but now I’m starting to think that he’s just playing with my feelings and telling me he’s ganna get me pregnant soon to string me along.
