First time mum feeling lonely and fed up😣

I have an 8 month old (5 months corrected because she was premature)

I’m just feeling so bored and fed up now, I’m on my own 90% of the time with my daughter and I just don’t really know what to do.

I feel like I’m wasting time and it’s making me feel so overwhelmed and slightly depressed, I feel like my daughters too young to go to places like a kids place because she can’t really do much, I’m just feeling a bit lost😔

I don’t really have any friends, and none have babies anyway.

I’m on the waiting list for a baby sensory group but no idea when I’ll get in.

I feel bad that I’m not doing much for my daughter yet too, like I’m not doing enough

And just feel generally low😔

Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions on what I could do, I don’t currently work (if there’s any stay at home mum jobs that I could do I’d love to know some suggestions) so money’s tight.

Thank you♥️

Do you have a local library? They do baby classes! I’m a stay at home mom and we go to 3 different libraries that have different classes where babies can play and you can meet new mom friends! You should look into it

Yeah that was one of the things I was worried about too was other mums. But like you said it’s nice to just get out and play with my baby outside of our home x

Me too!! I actually never went until my one friend with a baby asked me to go then I was like ok not so bad! It’s deff nerve racking bc some moms can be so clicky and rude but even if you don’t end up conversating with other moms it’s a nice time to play with your baby outside of your home and with some new toys!

I have an 8 month old too! I also recommend checking your library for some type of baby class. Mine had "baby rhyme time" once a week. It was fun to be around other moms and babies. You can also look online, some local schools offer baby play drop ins. Sometimes if I feel like I need to get out of the house I'll go mall walking with the stroller, grab a coffee and just look around. It's freezing out right now here so I can't walk with her outside, but in the spring/summer we go for walks in the park.
